Skiing as a single parent with child?

Hi all - I am a keen ski-er and keen to go this year to La Plagne with my DD (8) but I am so nervous about going alone, particularly with Covid to contend with. Can anyone:
a) Gee me on a bit with positive stories!
b) Recommend any providers - I'd like someone in resort if something goes wrong, and my transfers looked after for me.

Thanks.

How about looking at singleparentsonholiday website run by Andrea and Sandra - they organise lots of skiing holidays for single parents so your child and you will both have company / support. Hope you both have fun x
