Looking for a bit of advice...I am a single parent with a 6 year old and moved to a new area about 2 years ago. We have some friends through school now but haven't met any other single parents in my 6 year olds class. Recently I met a single mum with a 6 year old and get on really well but my child doesn't like her child. We were looking to plan some trips away this year and they live really close by. I feel so torn as my child doesn't want to spend time with them and I was really looking forward to booking trips away and doing lots of activities all together. Any experience of best approach would be v much appreciated...
