Anyone have an ex who expects dd/ds to fit in with his social schedule round xmas time ie refuses to see her/him if he is 'going out?' Is it right that child's time with him is tailoured around his social life? Shouldn't it be the other way around?? How do you deal with this?? Thanks.

Don't let him see her xmas day or boxing day - any other day is just a "normal" day but if he's being arsey, don't give him an easy ride!

Agree with Lewis, but I'd also add xmas eve to that too. Nothing nicer than seeing kids bolt upright in bed when they hear 'bells', tucking them in and hanging up the stockings.

Kids should NOT fit in with exs social life...NEVER!

Oh yeah, I agree about Xmas eve (forgot to say so - silly me!)

I agree kids shouldn't have to fit in around exs social agenda. But I expect I'll bend over backwards to keep him happy anyway.

Noooooo don't do it

Just give him a list of times and dates (not inc the 24-26 dec or 31 dec/1 jan) and he can choose which ones he wants.

That is all I'd do
