Going LC with family as a single mum

For various reasons I have to go LC with my family, I am already NC with a family member but for reasons I have to reduce contact with the others, they are very toxic people, my ex isn’t involved and doesn’t see our children, how do people with no one around them manage in an emergency? I don’t have anyone that can look after my children as I have 4 and the oldest has sen so not really anyone that can have them, my concern is if I go LC with the rest of them then I will have no one to rely on in an emergency, I should point out they don’t go childcare anyway but would have my children in an absolute emergency. Anyone in this situation?

I did the same as you so I am in a similar situation. I have close friends as emergency contact and have found great babysitters on childcare.co.uk

Going NC/LC with family members was the best thing I did. They are so toxic I wish I did it earlier

Make friends with other single mums nearby and cover for each other.
Get to know your neighbours. I had a lovely widowed neighbour, ex school teacher who loved taking care of dcs occasionally. She was always willing to help in an emergency.
And talk to the school. What wrap around care is there?
