Petrol

Anyone else sick of this madness? Am in London, there is literally nowhere I can get petrol... I work full time as a teacher and the way things are going, I won't be able to get to work on Monday.
Everyone is saying 'get to the petrol stations early, or when they have fuel' etc.
Why don't people realise that that's just not an option for single parents???!
Apart from anything else, I am shattered, up at 4am in the week to make sure that child and I are in the right place at the right time.
How can I get up at 4am, put 3year old in the car and take my chances on queuing when I am on the red light already??

The situation is improving, keep an eye on local Facebook groups or similar because many are full of fuel now - the panic buyers have got full tanks now!
Our 2 (only 2 in my town) have been refilled and the big ones in local city are refilled too now, I'm sure by Sunday most areas will have had a delivery

Thanks for your reply @gogohm but the situation is still bad here.
Everyone who panic fuelled earlier in the week (not me!) now needs more... the queues are relentless. Traffic got bad again.
Not sure what I am supposed to do

I’m in London. And it seems to be getting better. There are queues but petrol stations are stocked. Could you ask school to leave during your PPA time to get fuel?
