Any one have an arrangement in place for half of school holidays where there ex actually takes your DC for half of the holidays and not just a week or two?

My dh has his dc half of all school holidays and e/o Xmas and boxing day.

My ds father doesn't have set holidays he just tells me when he's planning to have him and if it's OK. Sometimes it's just the normal weekends. Sometimes it's 2 weeks etc

Although I should highlight that a huge chunk of the actual care is picked up by his parents. God forbid he would take time off work.

Sadly you can't force a nrp to have the kids at all, never mind during holidays, even if it's court ordered.

My ex hasn't seen his kids for 17 months and counting. I would love a break !
