5 year old emotional on return home every time.

Hi,
I have 3 kids ages 5,3 and 2. Been separated for 18 months from ex husband. He sees the kids Tues every week and then every other Fri and Sat night. He used to just do Tues and every other Sat but when he got a new girlfriend he felt he should see them more. 🙄. Still not a great amount though. Anyway main query is, that upon return from her dad's my 5yo is always really emotional and hard work. Is this just a normal transition thing? For instance, she hasn't actually spoken to me since 3pm when he dropped her off. She went to bed at 7.30 and refused a cuddle, story or kiss. All things we do every night. She then cried for almost an hour because she wants to spend the day with me tomorrow but she's at school and I'm at work. Often she doesn't want to go to her dad's and she gets really anxious about it. Could her behaviour on return be linked to that?

Additional info: I guess the younger ones just think of it as normal. 3 yo often asks if I know his dad and 2 yo very clingy on return. But I guess it's normal to them and they've no memory of us being together. They were 20 months and 8 months when we separated.
