Hey Subs - I'm in Bristol too!

Not much advice on what to do though as my dds never see their dad so I never get any free time (hence having to use friends reunited dating - see the other thread we've both posted on!)

Am not really new but don't post much really. Bored at work today! Don't know who else is in Bristol.

nailpolish · 29/10/2004 14:03

I live in Knowle but am off the baby group thing now as my dds are 6 and 4 and at school but I've been there!

Where do you live?

There are loads of Bristol men on friends reunited dating!!

subs · 29/10/2004 14:21

listmaker · 29/10/2004 14:31

Yes I'm single but no don't know many other single mums - all my friends are married! If my new frd romance doesn't work we could go out on the town (although I'm not really much of a clubber!).

How old are you? How old are your children? Do you work?

Good to know you're out there too and good luck with frd!!

subs · 29/10/2004 14:33

would be fun to go out - but i hope you new-love-thing works out too...

subs · 29/10/2004 14:39

FionaJT · 29/10/2004 16:51

Hi subs,
I will be a single Mum in the Bristol area - although currently still pregnant and living in London, I'm moving back to my parents in Nailsea when I go on maternity leave in a month (baby's due on Xmas day). Will probably be on here lots then as I haven't lived in the area since I left school (I'm 31) and I don't know anyone!

subs · 30/10/2004 10:15

cool - get in touch

nightowl · 30/10/2004 23:48

hi!

Jeany · 31/10/2004 00:03

Hi i have only just joined mumsnet. I am a single parent with two kids aged five and one in Bristol. I work for a charity that supports lone parents nation wide so i guess i'm quite lucky in that i know a lot of other single parents younger and older. Brisol is quite a nice place, lot's to do with the kids
