Child maintenance

Hi everyone,
Just after a bit of advice really. My ex husband's child maintenance has increased. He pays it from his account to mine so CMS dont take it from him.
My question is what do I do or the procedure if he either doesn't pay any or just pays what he has been doing and not the increased amount?
Thank you in advance

Do you mean his wages have increased?

He will have been told the new amount and when it starts, just like you have. If he's always paid the amount stated, no reason to assume he won't now? If he doesn't, contact CMS.

Are the CMS setting the amount he needs to pay? If so it will get adjusted at the annual review. Unless it is a significant increase. Over 25%. Then you can ask for it is be recalculated.

I keep a record and contact CMS if it goes beyond 6 weeks missing or incorrect they then give him a shove to put it right.
