Terminology!

Hello!

My STBXH has moved out and we are co-parenting.

I'm navigating this brave new world and getting confused.

Am I now a single parent? Single mum? Am I allowed to call myself that where others are lone single parents?

I would say single mum but I have heard people say if you co parent then your not a single mum, but you’re still single so I don’t see the problem.

My ex is absent so I prefer to use the term lone parent.

Honestly i would say don't sweat the small stuff.

I use single parent.. My ex is not involved at all. Only on mn do people even care.
