I spent 16 years as a single parent (I’m now married).
I know it can feel so lonely, and just like the usual weekend day.
I just wanted to say that it’s not always like this.

My kids are now 17 and 21, and all those years of spending it just the 3 of us, has resulted in 2 kids that I couldn’t be prouder of.
They appreciate all the hard work, and don’t fail to buy me a (tiny) token of appreciation on Christmas Day.
