Put a claim in for UC for my 17 yr old. Think I’ve made a mistake

Hi so over the weekend I put in a claim for my 17yr old to claim UC. However I now think I have made a mistake and she won’t get it.
She lost her Saturday job due to Covid lockdown in our area. Lives at home with me and it said ‘doesn’t get parental support’ but actually I get tax credits so now I’m really worried I’m going to get in trouble or loose my tax credits!
She has a telephone appointment on Wednesday with them and I have left a message through the journal to say I would like to close the claim
Any advice please?

Is she named on your tax credit claim because she's still in full time education? If she's in full time education you'll still be getting child benefit for her too? She won't be eligible for Universal Credit so hopefully the claim will be closed.

They are more likely to just tell you she isn't eligible to make a claim so I wouldn't worry about this

It’s all
Closed! Thanks everyone
