Hi I have a little boy aged 18 months & don't get out much these days. Being single is good in one way cause u can please yourself but there r times when u get stuck in a rut & dont see people or have adult conversations for days. was just wondering if anyone felt the same being a lone parent or if people live within the north east of england to chat to

Hi! I live in the north east but am not a single parent. Just wanted to say that I know Gingerbread, the single parents organisation, has regular get togethers here (Heaton in Newcastle) where mums (and kids too sometimes) all get together for mutual support etc. I could get you the details if you're interested - they meet where I work.

Hi Aimsmum

Thanks for the message hope your little one is getting better. My little boy has gone swimming today with his grandparents & I feel lost but it is nice & peaceful lol....

Hi miranda,

I live close to middlesbrough stadium so it would be a bit to far to travel but thanks for that. Have heard of the gingerbread it sounds great. Do u go to any playgroups?/?
