Hi All

Last year family court hearing as after 8 plus years absent father decided to turn up again.. 13 yr old DD not interested.

CAFCASS said we needed a section 7 ( restraining order in place , history of gaslighting etc..) once he realised how in depth that would be he agreed to indirect contact , twice a year . He sent a card and letter at xmas and then only a card on DD birthday . She doesn’t want them but that’s by the by .. now he’s sent another letter that’s not allowed it’s not her birthday and it’s not Christmas .

My question is do I ignore it or do I get solicitor to point this out to him? He sends everything via my sol and this unscheduled letter he sent also said he was going to go back to court as he’s been patient !?

Appreciate if anyone else had been in similar situation any advise ?!

Thanks

ignore him

let him go to court if he wants. At 11 + they take the childrens wishes into consideration.

do not worry OP, she can say she does not want to see him if it went to court.
