Can he stop me?

I am considering moving to another country with my child, can her father stop me doing this if he has already relocated to a different country to work and so has essentially left me with all parental responsibility already?

yes if he is on the birth certificate

If he has already moved I can't see how he could successfully argue that your move would further impede contact. Hed have to go to court for a prohibited steps order which may well not be granted.

I think because we were married when she was born he retains parental responsibility regardless. He's made my life difficult for the last 2.5 years, I'm not sure I've got a court fight in me. He gets away with everything

In theory he can at least try to stop you. The fact that he has also relocated would undermine his case though. Does he have family in your current area that he visits when he sees dc?

Yes, he has parental responsibility unless it us legally removed from him (very rare) but this does not mean he can succeed in stopping you. His prior move undermines any argument he might make about your move. Its not that hard to self rep, lots of guidance online and family courts are increasingly used to it
