Yes. You have been able to from the beginning.

alanmi · 27/06/2020 16:34

I thought i wasn't allowed to go further than 5 miles.

Travel has always been allowed for shared parenting. Check out the Gov.scot website. Took me 20 seconds to find it.
You've waited 3 months to ask the question when you could have just googled.

Woodmarsh · 27/06/2020 17:55

@OhamIreally is that the case in Scotland too?

alanmi · 27/06/2020 22:17

Ok I didn't know that.

I'm in Scotland, my dc have been seeing their dad who is much more than 5 miles away the entire time. The 5 miles is fairly new.... the fact kids have been able to move between parents households however far has been the case throughout.

jelly79 · 27/06/2020 22:40

Genuine question OP. How didn't you know this?

alanmi · 28/06/2020 16:15

Jelly79 i read something about nicola sturgeon going to close the border. and i thought it applied to parents living close to their children not ones living so far away and also it wasnt safe which is why i chose not to go anyway as i didnt want my child getting ill
