Virus and no back up....

Hi everyone
Been getting a bit worried recently about what would happen to my kids if I got ill and had to go to hospital.
I got divorced this year and my ex is currently abroad. He says he will come back if needed but I'm not sure it will be that easy. My mum is self isolating and I don't have any other family. I have friends that have offered to help but what happens if they can't? My children are 11 and 14. Thanks for reading this

It’s a real worry, atleast you have friends that can help though so that’s something. I’m in the same situation only mine are much younger 9 and under, ex is absent and no one who can have them. I really don’t know what the answer is, I haven’t got any friends who could help or family, if your friends are offering then they should be in a position to help?? I guess if they really can’t then social services would step in.
