How to get round travelling to see child?

There's 3 hours distance between us and my daughters father ( each way ). No court order. As it stands we have agreed that he will just have to wait until all this is over to see DD but this could be months and months. Is this decision correct? Or if there was a court order would he still be expected to travel right now?

No. My ex is a similar distance. We meet halfway and kids are spending two weeks in each place. We are both wfh so not a lot of mixing with others outside the household. Haven't been stopped on any journey but am not worried if I am. Children are allowed transfer. I am taking extra care with the car tyres etc to help prevent the liklihood of breakdown and use wipes at the petrol station. This could gonon for months and months. It's not realistic, unless there are high risk factors to prevent contact.

Ok thank you. I will mention that too hIm and try make a plan as I feel it's too long for them not to see each other. Can I ask how often your ex sees your children just now? With living a similar distance

@HugeAckmansWife sorry just realised you said in your first reply 2 weeks at each place. Thanks
