Lockdown as a single parent

Hi Everyone,

Posting on behalf of my sister who is a key worker and single mother to a 5 year old and has a couple of questions following tonight's announcement that we are going into lock down:

  1. She decided to keep my niece off school as our dad (healthy, in his 50's) offered to home school while my sister is working. Can she still take my niece to her grandads each day for the purpose of childcare/schooling?

  2. she has a difficult relationship with my nieces dad and there is a court order in place for contact. Does she still need to adhere to that?

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated as she's stressing out about it all.
