I work in a company with a lot of staff 500+, I have an underlying health issue(asthma) and in my 40s, I'm very worried if i go into work, And if I get the CV I could get very ill and there is literally no other family/friends who could look after my children. I don't really want to risk it

I would tell your employer you need to work from home in your situation for the foreseeable and then make sure you are all set up to be able to work from home.

(I’m assiming you can wfh of course?)

I have COPD so I also planned to wfh from now on as the risk feels too great. If we become very ill with this virus, I fear there won’t be much help. I already can’t get through to GP, test kits for CV have run out and testing is only being done once you are hospitalised! This is going to a strain on everyone but we all have to pull together.
