For too long the DWP has failed lone parents and their children by feeble attempts to collect and arrange maintanance payments.

If you are a lone parent who has experienced the hardship caused by the DWPs inadequate attempts to ensure child maintenance payments are secured then we would like to hear from you and your experiences.

We are looking to find potential claiments for a legal challange against the DWP on this matter and would be eager to hear from lone mothers who have experienced issues with outstanding maintanace payments from the parent without care responisibilities and those who have experienced issues with the receipt of payments or calculation of maintanace payments.

Why just mothers and not fathers?

The system fails all parties, what about the nrps who are paying 500 pound a month due to the crazy calculation cms make on a salary of 1200 a month?

What about people who have to stop working due to not being able to live, due to the incompetence of cms and their crazy calculations, causing hardship to not just themselves but the children involved.

What about nrps being told to go to food banks because they can't afford food?

Cms fail both parties all the time.

Because this is about the failure of the Cms collecting maintenance when they have powers to do so 🙄

Then start your own one nighttimetalk somewhere else.

My ex in on UC but doesn’t have to pay maintenance apparently as he has “priority debts” so yes I would be interested in this
