Apologies in advance for this rant, I'm just so frustrated with the system, it's not workable and there's nothing that I can do, no rights or powers!!
It seems that if the paying parent doesn't want to pay they can easily get out of any commitment to their child's maintenance and it's sort of accepted by society in general.
I'm just so fed up and frustrated as the seperation hit me badly financially, I had to give up full time work for childcare reasons as we shared care and work part time, rent is high can't get anywhere cheaper as lone parent.
What little I have is ALWAYS prioritised on my daughter but I am now in debt and so angry that ex does not have to support his own child in any way and told me when he left that he didn't have to pay towards daughter as he saw it as 'paying for ME!!'
He chooses not to see daughter so is able to work full time and has now worries and it feels so unfair.
I know I am just feeling really sorry for myself and need to pull it together but I just feel so angry, the Cms is good in theory but what's the point when it's just not enforceable!!
