Hi :)
My best friend is 6 months pregnant and already had a beautiful one year old. The father of both has unfortunately all of a sudden upped and left her and moved part way up the country.
She is stressed, as you can imagine, so I was wondering what you mummies out there would suggest as good gifts to help with a second child? Particularly now that she won't have that second pair of hands unless me or another friend is around.
I am going throw a little baby shower for her to show her she has support from her friends and that she is not alone.
What would be handy in a house or to have out and about with a newly walking one year old and a new born? I want to get her some practical things to help her manage with 2 small children.
Thank you :) x

You’re a thoughtful mate, really kind to consider her at a difficult time
Baby gym to put new baby in whilst she attends her other little one
Shaun sleep baby sounds

Baby basket or baby bouncer to put baby in whist she does other stuff

Get something for the 1yo too

Some sort of containment unit for the one year old?? Play pen, bouncer, sit in walker?

You definitely need this with only one pair of hands once the toddler gets more mobile
