Giving Father custody

Hello,
Was hoping I could please ask for some advice.
Child's father and I split up 2 years ago. My daughter is now 3.
She has lived with me since birth.

Her Father and I are discussing switching custody, so my daughter lives with him and I have her on the weekends. This is due to my own mental health and not coping balancing everything. I suffer from ADD and severe anxiety. I work full time. He plays sports for a living so only works 4 days a week.

Is it as simple as telling child benefit/childcare element I am no longer the main parent?
Does my daughter just move in with him?

Thank you

So long as you both agree you don’t need permission

There is a process of informing everyone gp nursery date of change for benefits.

My only thing I would advise you both think about . Depending on when she is 4 she will be in school this September or next and quality time at the weekend. Also have you applied for schools as this will be affected by change of address.
