Hopefully someone can help.

Can the non-resident parent's maintenance continue to be reduced to them having another child living with them, when this "child" is a uni student? I assumed this would only go up to the 2 years of college? Can't find any info on it and mine aren't at uni age yet so unsure how it works.

Can I contest that the non-resident parent has the child at least 52 nights a year when they actually don't due to them cancelling frequently for silly reasons eg having a cold or being busy, night out etc. I always offer another night or even a day visit which is rarely accepted. I also offer extra time if wanted in school hols which again isn't ever taken up. When child does go for an overnight they are picked up after 6:30pm and dropped off 9:30am the next morning so all it's cost him really is petrol (we live in same town) and a bowl of cereal as I feed evening meal before he goes!

University students are classed as adults, so no, the NRP’s CM shouldn’t be reduced for having a university student in the same home.

Yes - you can contest if nights are less than 52 per year.

If the NRP picks up at 6:30pm and drops back at 9:30am the next day of course this will be classed as an overnight.
