We just had a baby girl eight weeks ago. My husbands entire family lives within ten minutes of us ... I mean parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins. He lives in the UK. My family is ALL in the US. His family has been seeing our daughter regularly and aside from my mom, no one in my family has even met her yet. I can’t help but to feel down that my children will be much closer to his family and will probably rarely see mine. I feel it a lot that my siblings are all in the US and they’ll all be close in distance and I am so far. Anyone else in a similar situation?
