Pathetic excuse

What would you think of your child's father saying this to you " I can't come and see my baby Christmas morning because Christmas morning is too busy so I will just pop down Boxing Day". This is a single man who lives on his own , drives and lives around half an hour away. He obviously wants to spend the day at his parents who live 5 mins away from him. A lot of men who's ex's say they can't see their kids on Christmas morning are devastated and would jump at the chance. Imagine him saying to someone else oh I had the chance to see my baby on Christmas morning but I took the option not too as it's just too busy. Don't understand what's busy as it's just DS and I that live here so it's not like my family will all be here either. What an excuse. Just needed to rant. I have just said ok but I would have loved to say what I really thought.

I'm sorry he is such a waste of space. Hope you can enjoy your day with your dd. And make your own traditions for the day.

Sadly he won't be rushing to tell anyone the truth. I'm sure my ex hasn't told anyone I have now asked him six times if he wants the children Christmas afternoon.

Just know you tried your best.

That is exactly what he is. Hope you enjoy your Christmas with your children too. As long as they have us eh

You can just do the best you can. I'm looking forward to a very laidback day.

Tbh he is probably telling people you won’t let him. Yet to meet anyone say I am not seeing my kids because I can’t be bothered.

Focus on enjoying your Christmas
