The worst thing about being a single parent?

Just been reminded that sickness is really the worst part of being a lone parent! I have a nasty cold and so does dd (2) yet still have to do everything, she is tantrumming which seems 10x worse when your ill. Everytime I Stand up she wants me to carry her. Still got to pick up the other ones from school, the house is a tip as I’ve been sleeping on the sofa all day! Yep it really is the worst part!

I remember those days well.

Part of me wishes I kept them at home as I’m struggling with the thought of now having to collect them. But obviously couldn’t do that
