For those of you who's children's fathers have contact with them in a public place for a couple of hours during the day , do you suggest places for them to go or leave them too it? Also any ideas on places your children's dads have had contact with them outwith your home would be great , all my babys father wants to do is sit in my house on the couch for a couple of hours a week and do absolutely nothing ( if anything he just upsets DD ) and thinks he's super dad.

If it helps, I usually take dd to the library, the park (if the weather is good), soft play areas, general shopping, restaurants. There are pantomimes at this time of year, there may be events specifically for children in your local area. Could go to his house as opposed to yours?

Depending on the age of children, perhaps swimming? I used to like a leisure centre visit as a kid. As the kids get older there is a whole range of activities that open up.

@FatherB thanks for your reply. I've suggested the library, soft play areas so will see what happens.

How old is your baby? That might affect responses? I'd def suggest he tries swimming, soft play for younger toddlers etc tho!

The simple solution is to handover toddler at the door with bag and buggy and send him on his way...

Playground or McDonalds his choice 🤷🏽‍♀️

Are there any play cafes near you? The ones where they have scenes set up like a supermarket/doctors/building site etc.
