Hi, I've recently separated from my husband and I am feeling a little adrift with our routines. Things like what to do with my 3 year old daughter when my son needs help with his school work. I've been putting the TV on for her but I feel I should be able to do better than this. Plus it's a distraction for my son who has ASD. I know it's all about firming up routines I just can't seem to find a place to start. Any suggestions on this welcome.

Hi, welcome @Britgirl2019 . Does your ex H have your eldest at all? Can he help? I don't think you should feel bad for using the TV to help- when they're older they can be given a jigsaw or a game to play but when they're little, needs must.
