Hi, my first time on here so not sure if anyone can help. Im 7 months pregnant and staying on a relatives sofa, i have signed up to property pool plus and i am in band A. I have bidded for a house which i am so desperate for, im in 8th position which i know means 7 are before me but i was wondering how it works. Do they just put you in that position due to your band then you will be 8th to be offered the property or do they look into it a bit further when bidding closes and maybe filter it further. Sorry i know 8 is a low chance i just really love the property and i am so desperate right now. Thanks for any help

It will be filtered again once the bidding closes. People who are higher might have rent arrears or ASB issues so will be screened out.

Hi

@xxkayleyxx

I just went to view a house last week and I was actually in 8th position on property pool but the woman from the housing said a few people that she had shown round to view it had turned down/ or they couldn't accept them due to certain reasons?! I viewed it and there was 2 other people interested and she said the first person to send all there documents/paperwork over first would be offered it! Unfortunately I didn't get it. But yeah I wouldn't give up hope theres a good chance u can get offered and if u r in the highest band you will have more priority over other people for your circumstances! Good luck!

@kelis22 ahh really thats so good to know. Sorry to hear you came so close and missed out, hope you get somewhere soon!
With this one i honestly don't think anyone will refuse it because its a new build with a drive an a back garden on a lovely estate, not something that comes up very often, keeping everything crossed though x

Thanks @xxkayleyxx aw it sounds really nice! I'm looking preferably for a new build so won't need to save as much to move in if the floorings done and can't decorate for a year ! Good luck hope u find something soon
