If you're on IS, is it £10 a month you get or £10 a week from the fathers CSA payments?

You receive £10 a month from the father's CSA payments plus your IS. The rest of the maintenance stays with the CSA - it sucks.

£10 a week.

chopster · 02/08/2007 11:31

provided the IS is paid direct to the csa

chopster · 02/08/2007 11:31

sorry, the maintenance

fawkeoff · 02/08/2007 11:34

you get it a week. then the rest he pays goes to is for what they pay you for dc

zmandaz · 02/08/2007 12:48

Thanks for the info. Ex-h has agreed to pay direct from his work pay. DD is 1 in September and I haven't had anything yet but CSA say I should get it at the end of the month, so I've been trying to work out what arrears I'll get.

zmandaz are you on IS for yourself and child tax credits for the child(ren)or do IS pay for you all, cause if the maintenace is more than the IS amount then you will lose the IS altogether, just making you aware
