Broken and confused

For the past month I though my 13 yr old son's father and new step-mother was actually working with me to help raise my son. Later I found out his step mom (which told me herself) offered to get him a deer if he moved in with them. She has a son by someone else and my son has 2 other brothers from his father and another step-mom. All of those boys ages are from 6-8. A week before my son decided he was moving in with his dad all I heard was how much money his dad made and how much his dad spent on this or that. However, I hacked his tablet and found out that he was using my battle I just beat with cancer and his dad's heart attacks to get a girl to feel sorry for him. But I was told that I was over reacting and wanting a pitty party. During this time I was also trying to get my son to spend time with his dad and help him due to the latest heart attack. So I didn't even tell them about the other stuff I read on the tablet. Now its been almost 2 weeks and I havent heard from him at all. My family and Pastor says he was manipulating me which hurts a lot and to not contact him. But Im afraid they will turn him totally against me. I have a 17 yr old daughter that says he mentioned that he was going to his dads cause he had money and I was always on his case about the computer. Which is true. He wanted to sleep all day and stay up all night so yes I was on him for that. But should I keep quiet and see if he contacts me or should I try and contact him an let him know that I miss him?

I’m sorry I found your post a little confusing have I got this straight?

Step mum bribing you son with a deer(do you mean like bambi? That’s odd) to move in with you.
DS using yours and his DF illness to impress a girl
DS annoyed at you for not letting him game all night
DS13 moved out (living with dad?) ignoring you for 2 weeks

Of course you should contact him, and chat with his DF about him coming home and maybe get legal advice on residency/contact.

Ps💐 it does sound like you’re having an awful time at the moment.

Sorry for the confusion, but yes just like bambi. We hunt deer a lot where we live so I guess she thought that would excite him to move in with her and his dad. His dad has been trying to get him to move in for awhile so he could be there to watch the younger boys when they are there. Also Im not sure if his father isnt part of the reason why he hasn't contacted me as well. Thats why its confusing I know a boy needs his father but also he doesn't need to be taught to down grade their mother or women in general either and I have seen his father do it in front of him.

Ah dad wants free babysitting hopefully that will backfire one him pretty quickly, keep trying to get in contact, I’m thinking with the hunting you may not be UK? But still get some legal advice too.

Missmyson · 11/07/2019 09:21

No Im USA. Is that ok to be on here? Plus it is illegal to have wildlife as pets also. However, I do appreciate your advice and your time and I will try to get ahold of a lawyer in the morning.

Off course its ok Grin it just means that as the majority of posters are uk based, the legalities around custody etc will be different.

Missmyson · 11/07/2019 09:42

Ok and Thank you. That really isnt a bad thing for me tho. I may not know the laws but knowing there is someone who understands what your going through and how you feel is a big help to me.
