Where do I stand

Ex is wanting to go to pre school graduation for our son.
He pays nothing towards nursery or pre school (private). He never has.
Our son only goes as I go to work!
Thoughts please?

He's 4, his dad has never lived with us (he left before he was born), he's never been bothered about his dad eg never misses him or asks for him.
So he's impartial!
