Hi, Just hoping for some advice please.
My DD was seeing her Dad under a court order until a year ago. She was distressed around contact time and eventually broke down and told us he was hitting her and refused to see him anymore.
We went through court and he failed to attend the final hearing where it was agreed he would have no contact with her at all.
The order is quite specific that he is not allowed to contact her directly, indirectly through social media etc.
Since the order was made we’ve heard nothing until he decides to send her a birthday card telling her he misses her.
Has anybody had experience of this please? DD hasn’t seen it yet / if st all. I just want him to let her be ....
