I am due to start work again and am a single parent with a little boy who is 4 and at 5 mornings a week nursery for free. The afternoons is not paid for and my salary will be 18000 can I still get help with childcare costs?? WTC CTC will these change and decrease because of my wage. I am only wanting afternoon childcare for 12 weeks as my little boy will be at full time school soon. Thanks

I thought wtc tapers off around the 15k mark but seeing as you are a lone parent it might be different, you can check the following link

Yes you will as long as it is OFTED registerd childcare.

entitledto.com is a marvellous site and will give you a reasonably accurate picture of what you will get.

Congratulations on your new job btw!

You can also call the tax credits helpline, on the same site that Tinkerbel has mentioned.
