How much of the school holidays does your other half get? Is half pretty standard, so 6 weeks a year?

I'd be so grateful to hear from other people because my ex is due to move out of the family home soon and so we are trying to come to some kind of agreement re contact.

It will vary as people have different arrangements. But half sounds fair surely?

My ex works full time as do I. In the summer we each take ds on a week’s holiday away, and he spends 3 weeks at holiday club. I spend the last week at home with him.
This half term, I’ll have one weekend, ex will have the long weekend, and ds will have 4 days at holiday club (which he loves).
Once you get into a routine, it helps to keep it amicable if possible, and be flexible to give dc the most opportunities.
