Ex got divorce letter today and is cut up

I saw him at the school as he picked up the dss and he looked white and said it isn't a good day. I was at drs over the road so thought I'd pop over to say hi. I feel guilty but he knew it had to come to this. We've been getting on ok but I think he'll need some space for a while.

Yes we didn't have a physical marriage so I ended it as he didn't make any effort, just made excuses. He doesn't need sex, as admitted it. We were still friendly so hope once he's over the shock we can be again.

yes no doubt he is, had years to do it though. I think he just took it for granted that I'd stay. He is a lovely guy and I feel so sad for him. I had a few tears this morning but I'm ok. He'll be fine once he realises it's for the best. He's already doing more of the things he loves.
