Please can someone give me some advice on what to do with CMS!!
My ex partner has been renting his own home(we used to live in ) while renting another property, He is also now self employed. Last October I sent information to CMS with proof that he is earning money out of renting his home and that this hasn't been taken into consideration when working out the amount he has to pay me. I currently get £41 per week for our 2 boys. CMS still haven't looked into this 6mths on! I keep calling and they say they will call me back, I use the online website to communicate with them but get nothing back!

Write to your MP detailing all information given to cms and the dates you contacted them. Its amazing how a bit of pressure from an MP can get cms to pull their their weight.

Anything like undeclared income they will not deal with. I had this and they refused to view the proof as they can't be seen as though they are snooping etc. They told me to report it to HMRC. As thats who they rely on when making their calculations
