Does anyone know of a calculator that is most accurate?
I have used 3 so far all giving very different figures from the same information input....

Background, just starting the process of separating from husband with a 5 month old baby.
Staying with my sister in England just now but will be very soon moving back up to Scotland and living in rented accomodation.

I have UC starting the end of this month based on living with family but would really like to know how that will change when I get my own place again.

I was financially dependent on my husband thanks to having my contract cut during my pregnancy, so I will be looking for part time work once I have a place to live sorted but one step at a time!

Thanks

I found entitled 2 to be the most accurate.

Entitled to was the one I used. DP is on a 0 hour contract so put in his annual wage from last year as an estimate and its been pretty accurate (within £50) since we started claiming 2 months ago.

Since you'll be single you'll be entitled to full UC until you get a job and then you'll be deducted 63p out of every £1 you earn over £198 a month though I read that this is changing so you may want to double check.

Good luck with the move! Hope your new life with your little one is a happy one
