Single mum holiday with 1y & 3y old... Can I do it?

Hi, I’ve only been a single mum since January but Im thinking of taking my 2 little ones on a holiday that had already booked before the split for the end of April. Is this a silly idea on my own?
It’s just under a 3 hour flight and then all inclusive for 5 nights. My little girl is really good but still only 3, and my little boy has just turned 1 so he’s crawling and walking holding my hand, but not able to run off on his own yet 😊 I have a double pram to put them in and can then pull a suitcase, but am I making life too hard for myself just to be able to take them away on holiday? Hopefully someone else has tried and has some tips for me please 🤞🏼

I would go. Just take it easy and try not to do too much. Have lazy days. I'm sure you'll have a brilliant time.

Thanks 😊 I can do it can’t I? Family think I’m taking on too much but I know we’d be ok once we’re there, just worry about the flight and transfer

You’ll be fine.

I travelled from Oz with dds on my own at a similar age. You can do what you like through the day together, and relax. You might even meet some other people on their own with kids 🌞

You can totally Do it!

Lots of snacks for the plane, tablet for the 3 year old and just remember it’s only 3 hours

really? it will be fine. my mum took her two grandchildren on holiday alone. and I was going to take my 4 children away alone (still planning it not booked yet) you will be fine i cant see the problem.

Brill thanks! Just when they’re so little I was worried it might be too much but thanks for the reassurance 😁

Of course you can do it, you're managing everything else so why wouldn't you??

Have a fabulous time OP
