Just wondering what you line parents are doing this Mother's Day?

My dad is 11 and I'm not sure what to do for the day! Not really feeling like going out for dinner so any other ideas?

My ds, 10 has planned to bring me pancakes with berries & syrup for breakfast, then he will spend the day with his dad and I will go shopping for garden pots and maybe some t-shirts.
Tomorrow night ds & I will hand-make pizza together - his favourite food.

My DS is 11.

I have a long list of jobs to get through .If I did nothing I would just be further behind. He wants to make tea. I guess we will watch my TV and play a few games

Doing some cleaning in the morning
Then going to walk into town and take DS13 and DS 3 to the coffee shop for our weekly teacake and coffee,

Possibly take DS 3 to the park and to feed the birds on the marine lake

Then home to put my feet up
Get a takeaway and veg out

Ds is so excited, and I feel bad because I just feel sad and fed up at the moment.

He wants to bring me breakfast in bed, then for us to spend the day playing together. I quite fancy trying to head out for a walk and some fresh air, then I need to sort the house out desperately. I’m meant to be cooking dinner for my mum, and I just - as horrible as this sounds - don’t want to! I’m knackered and broke and I can’t afford the ingredients!
