Does anyone have an ex (father of child) who has the LO every other weekend and travel back and forth every other weekend? My ex is going to start having our 4 year old son every other weekend but lives 160 miles away so will mean travelling on a Friday after school and back on a Sunday afternoon
Just think he's going to be shattered for school

He will probably sleep in the car Friday after being at school but being the weekend hopefully it won't matter too much.

I think to be fair to everyone you have to see how it goes, but if he does struggle maybe Ex could do the journey back earlyish Sunday and do something with him more local for the day- or stop somewhere fun half way. It would break up the journey for both of them.

My 3dc have been doing a 150 mile one way trip eow, they are now 10/4 and 3 and have been doing it for 3 years. Yes they get tired so every so often ex travels down and stays in a hotel. On the whole though they do adjust but it does take time.
