Hi,
Am I being unreasonable being annoyed that my sons dad won’t give me a time for him picking our son up tomorrow till he’s checked what his other kids want to do?
This is only the 2nd time he is having our son as he’s not bothered before. Can’t help thinking he’s trying not to have him

Tell him the window that’s available to him.
Keep it pleasant.

Hiya
I’ll be home with DC between 9am and 11am for you to collect.

Let me know if he needs wellies / swim stuff if you need it. Thanks

It is a difficult situation to be in and it is hard to lay down the law. But you can say we will be In Until 10.30. If you haven't show up by then we will go and get on with our day. Hopefully you will all settle into a routine soon.

Yup - totally agree with Cauliflower - give him a window and stick to it. Same for drop off. You need to be able to make plans too. My ex expects me to not make any plans in the 3 hours a month that he sees the DC, so that he can bring them home whenever it suits him!! REsulted in him and the kids sitting in the garden for 20 minutes or so waiting for me to get home on Sunday - I refuse to drop everything and come running because he can't be a proper dad!!
