Hi, I’m hoping someone will be able to give me some advice.

My delightful ex husband has caused criminal damage to my property - can’t say too much but it’s structural damage. Police attended statement given and he’s now wanted but missing...
I can’t afford a Non Molestation but I’ve been told he’ll get bail restrictions once caught and charged. Currently the kids have had no contact with him for over 9 months but I’m slightly worried that if he takes me to court for a CAO that I’ll be expected to deliver the kids to him even with the history - just to clarify - it was a completely unprovoked attack on my property. What would a court expect of me?

With domestic violence you can get legal aid. I did and got a non molestation order. If you can prove there's a risk to the children they can be included on the non molestation order as well

Ring the domestic violence helpline now - they'll be able to give you some pointers or put you in touch with someone who can.
