Hi mums, this is my first post after reading so much advice whilst pregnant and post baby. Anyway, my dd is 6 months old and I’m a lone parent single mum and my 18th birthday is coming up. I’ve arranged to go out with my sisters the weekend following as I have childcare arranged, however I wanted to do something on my actual birthday on the Sunday. My family basically aren’t planning to see me as we have arrangements for other days also I don’t live near them or drive so I can’t just pop round. I want to go for a meal but my question is this:
Is it weird to go out into town for a meal by myself with my baby?
Would I look like an awful mother if I had an alcoholic drink? I want to have maybe just one cocktail or something as it’s my 18th I want to use my ID!

Let me know your opinions or maybe suggestions of what else to do on my 18th birthday with just me and my baby. Tia xx

Bless you. One alcoholic drink will of course be fine! Not weird to go out on your own at all. Happy birthday OP!
