What should I do on my own on my child-free weekend?

My twatty exH is having the children this weekend, which is not usual.

Instead of raging at him and feeling lost without the children around, I am going to relax and make the most of the weekend so it flies by and I enjoy it for a change.

I am recovering from a heavy cold, so whilst I would usually do a gym class when they are away, I don't think I will be this weekend. I usually catch up with family as well, but I don't want to spread my lurgies. I am self-employed and sometimes taken on extra work to make the time fly, but I feel too wiped out for that too. I plan to watch lots of tv, but wondering what else I can do.

Tomorrow I am going to do the supermarket shopping (woohoo!) and am going out to dinner tomorrow night with some friends. DC will be back with me on Sunday night.

Don't want to go out/visit anyone tonight as I am still tired from being ill. What would you do to relax on your own? My youngest daughter is learning to knit and so I might try that using youtube. Any other ideas?

I don’t get a free weekend unless Ds is on cub camp. I usually do a balance of watching junk tv. Sometimes order sky movie . Go out with friends.

I play my music loud . Ds hates it .

Do a bit of paperwork so am sitting down.

It’s not exciting but recharged my batteries

I usually do a bit of cleaning and slobbing in front of tv . Also go out and get nails / eyebrows done or go to cinema .
