How do you meet friends in your 30's...why have they not designed a tinder type app to meet mummy friends lmao.

There is apps where you can go along to meets.
I think there's a lot of them but there's one literally called 'Meetup'

I read an article about one for making mum/parent friends called Peanut, I think. Not checked it out myself though.

Mush is quite good op. I used it when I fell pregnant and made some friends

Meetup is great. Also try searching for Facebook groups in your area that cover things you're interested in. I joined a couple of open water swimming groups local to me, and now regularly swim in the river with a great bunch of people. You could even start a group - I started one called 'Northants Outdoor Adventures' for people in the local area who share my passion for hiking, mountain climbing, kayaking, cycling, and pretty much anything else that gets you outdoors. Made some great friends, and we now routinely head out for adventures.

I did actually match with a profile on Tinder which was created for that purpose. The profile just stated it was to help people create friendships and gave a link to a Facebook group. This was years ago when I was still single. It was called Girlcrew and I think it has grown massively since the Tinder days. I am sure they have their own app now.

I never did go to any of the actual meetups but I was on the facebook page for a long time and it was very active for my north Scotland city. Check and see where your nearest group is because it seemed very welcoming!

Bumble has an option for friends as opposed to dates as well

lexi873 · 23/09/2018 11:45

I downloaded Mush and nobody spoke 😔 yes I know I could have started a conversation but that’s why I have very few friends cos I’m introverted and didn’t know how to strike up a conversation, what do you say? Hi wanna be my friend?Blush
I feel your pain OP it’s so hard in your 30’s as it seems everyone already has their established friendship groups for years and you can’t just come along and get an “in”.

gimeallthecake · 24/09/2018 19:52

Peanut is a good one!

Alexa85 · 25/09/2018 07:29

Thanks guys, I've downloaded mush and said hi to a few ppl but nothing back yet. Your right it is so hard cos everyone already has their lil friendship groups x
