Seperated from exh 5 1/2 years ago, been divorced for 3. We have 1 DD.
We’ve had loads of issues since we separated mainly due to his mental health and how that impacts DD.
We had our own maintenance agreement but he failed to pay regularly so I started using CMS in 2016. They worked out he should have been paying more than he was. He’s never once paid that amount.
Finally CMS have moved our claim to collect & pay, they have his employer details and they told me on Friday we are good to go with deduction of earnings for the full amount.
Today he picked DD up and was extra friendly towards me. We are nc with minimal talk at handover. So friendly that I actually began to wonder if I was wrong for nc. Then he told me he’s changing jobs, starting tomorrow and won’t be on a set wage as it’s a percentage of the profits.
FFS. He’s clearly done it to avoid the DOE. 20 months it’s taken to get the claim sorted and now I’m going to have to start again. I’m furious. And sad that he managed to make me feel bad with his charm offensive earlier.
Does anyone know how it would work for CMS calculations if he doesn’t have a set wage? Or should I give up hope of getting any extra money for DD?
