I'll try to keep this clean and miss out the swear words I'm needing to express.

I'm having a really bad time. Close to the lowest point since ex announced the dirty deed 16 months ago.

So basically, 💩 has hit the fan in all directions. Maintenance now through CMS and is less than £15 a week for 2 teens coz he 'can't possibly afford more with a lease vehicle and expensive phone to pay for'.

They don't want to see him, but I feel like I'm getting punished for standing up for them. Solicitor now involved (him not me coz I haven't got a pot to p*ss in). They've suggested mediation at £125 an hour?! They're having a laugh on under £15 a week CMS?!

DD birthday 2 weeks ago and he turned up with £150 in a Card. What do people do about handing over cards for occasions? Am I obliged to see the nasty controlling b*stard, or can he put a stamp on and post? They don't want to see him, so why should I be nice to him after the upset he has caused me.

As teenagers a court would take their views into account and they would not be forced to see him.
How is he getting away with such a paltry amount for maintenance? Is he self employed? Can you find evidence of earning to send to cms? How can he afford a solicitor when he can only give £15 to his dc.
Tell him to stick a stamp on his card and do not let him into your house. It sounds like your children have the measure of him.

Yes so he can find £150 for birthday but only £15 a week.

I would not allow him in house . You have a letter box.

Let the swear words out - they fucking help! It's only words to express the pain and anger you are in - tell them you cannot afford mediation - if he wants it let him pay - I doubt he does though - just exerting control over you and yes punishing you cos he's a shit father and kids are picking up on it.

Stand strong - let him pursue this if he wants - if he takes it all the way to court would like to see the reaction as to how he could afford court fees but not pay for his fucking kids to live - perhaps if he gave you this money instead so you were under less strain his kids may have a better relationship with him.

I fucking hate these useless excuses of a father - I have my own to deal with - can you tell 😂
